Her love for paddling started as a teenager, when she and her mother won a 20 mile canoe race, involving over 40 participants on a swift water river in Michigan. Founding the companies’ mission to help preserve the environment and to donate proceeds to benefit environmental organizations, it is upon this basis that Nature Adventures has excelled at being the lead kayak, canoe and hiking tour company in the Charleston, SC area. Joe Crespi

Joe came to us from the beautiful mountains of Brevard, North Carolina where he gained a B.A in Integrated studies, where he integrated Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education with Organizational Leadership. Joe has been working with kayaks since he sold his first one at 16 working at an outfitter in his hometown in Florida. While a freshman in college Joe began working as a canoe guide, until promoted to kayak guide, and then making the big change over into rafting. Joe worked as a raft guide until graduating college, which is when he decided to make the big move to Charleston. He currently works full time for Epic Kayaks, and works as a guide part time for us. Joe enjoys racing kayaks and teaching people about the sport as much as he enjoys sitting around and fishing on a kayak. He also currently volunteers his time to different paddling events and organizations around the Charleston area like Berkley County Paddle fest, East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival, Hunting Island Biathlon, and Kiawah Island triathlon
