Kayak Rentals
From Buck Hall Recreation Area:
We offer Kayak Rentals from Buck Hall Recreation Area in McClellanville, SC on the Intracoastal Waterway. From Buck Hall's launch you can access Awendaw Creek in the Francis Marion National Forest and the waterways of the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. Here you can see Dolphins, a variety of Birds, crabs, shrimp, fish, and the occasional alligator. You can also paddle by the historic location of the Sewe Native American village that was once along Awendaw Creek.
We offer half day (up to 4 hours) and full day (up to 8 hours) rates. If you are camping with us or at Buck Hall, the launch is close by the campground and we can rent you the boat for the duration of your stay.
Rates:
Half Day Rental (up to 4 hours): $40 for Single Kayak, $50 for Tandem Kayak
Full Day Rental (up to 8 hours): $50 for Single Kayak, $60 for Tandem Kayak
Mutli-day on Rentals for Campers: Full day rental for the first day and half day rentals for each day after that
Kayak, Canoe, and Paddleboard Rentals for our on-site lake:
We have and on-site 8-acre lake that we rent Kayaks, Canoes, and Paddleboards by the hour. This is a great spot for beginners and kids to play around. It is also a great freshwater fishing lake.
Rates:
Single Kayaks: $10/hour
Tandem Kayaks and Canoes: $15/hour
Paddleboards: $10/hour
$5 extra for additional paddlers if switching out
Offsite Kayak Rentals:
We also offer Offsite Kayak Rentals to some of the iconic paddling spots around. You can carry pickup boats from our location, or we can deliver them to you if possible. please call 843-697-2075 for more information.
